Footpath Atlas
About the journal

Footpath Atlas

A collection of route-making ideas for everyday walks close to home. The journal gathers short, self-contained essays around the theme of short walks, closely observed. It is a small independent web publication, not a shop or a professional advice service.

The articles combine practical exercises with reflective observations. There are no invented reader testimonials, sponsored recommendations or claims of professional qualifications. Where an activity depends on local conditions, equipment or safety, use the relevant guidance rather than treating an essay as a universal instruction.

This site has no accounts, comment forms, advertising scripts or analytics scripts. Pages and styles are served directly from this website. Like most web servers, the server may record technical access logs when a page is requested; the absence of tracking scripts does not mean that no technical logging occurs.
